ABA therapy is the application of the science of learning and behaviour to improve skills, treat problem behaviour, and help children with autism and those with other developmental delays learn how to navigate the world around them. Broad, complex concepts are broken down into bite-sized tasks that are easier to understand, process, learn and repeat in everyday life. Our therapists work to reinforce and reward helpful behaviours that improve learning and communication skills, ultimately leading to happier, healthier kids. Our ABA ethos are following the principles of Dr Greg Hanley HRE (Happy Relaxed and engaged) A happy relaxed and engaging environment looks like meeting the child where they are at now. Finding the skills needed to reach their goal, then breaking it down into steps which are more manageable within the child’s life.
