At ABLE UK, Applied Behaviour Analysis is delivered the way modern, affirming practice intends. Programmes are led by Board Certified Behaviour Analysts (BCBAs), shaped around your child’s strengths and assent, and focused on skills that make everyday life easier. We bring 25 years of UK clinical heritage to two clinics in Dubai, with a multidisciplinary team and bilingual Arabic and English support, so families have a clinical partner they can trust.
What is Applied Behaviour Analysis?
ABA is a structured, individualised approach to learning. It helps children build communication, social, play, self-care and school-readiness skills, broken into achievable steps and taught at a pace that suits them. There is no single template. Every programme begins with a thorough assessment, so the goals we work on reflect your child as an individual and the priorities that matter most to your family.
What ABA looks like in practice is different for every child. For one, it might mean finding a reliable way to ask for help. For another, it might mean settling into a classroom routine, taking turns in play, or building the independence to manage a morning. The method is consistent, but the goals are always personal.
A neurodiversity-affirming, assent-based approach
This is where our approach matters most. ABA has changed a great deal, and so has ABLE UK. We do not use compliance-based methods, and we do not set out to make children appear “indistinguishable” from their peers. We start from respect: your child is an individual, and our role is to support their wellbeing, autonomy and self-advocacy.
Assent is central to how we work. We pay close attention to your child’s comfort and willingness, we follow their motivation rather than working against it, and we adjust when something is not right for them. Goals are agreed collaboratively with families, never imposed. The aim is a child who is more confident, more able to communicate and more in control of their own day, on their own terms.

What sets ABLE UK apart
Our programmes are BCBA-led and clinically governed. ABLE UK is DHA-licensed and DHCC-credentialed, and our ABA programmes are aligned with the standards expected by the relevant authorities in Dubai.
Behind that sits 25 years of UK clinical heritage. ABLE began as a UK practice supporting individuals with additional needs, and we brought that experience to the UAE, established here since 2014. Families also choose us for genuinely bilingual delivery: programmes are available in Arabic and English, with a monolingual Arabic option for families who prefer it. We are rated 4.6 from 126 verified Google reviews.

Initial assessment
A BCBA takes time to understand your child's strengths, needs and what matters most to your family.
Your individualised plan
We agree goals together and design a programme built around your child's motivation and assent.
Therapy and regular review
Sessions begin at DHCC or JLT, with progress reviewed together and goals adjusted as your child grows.
Two clinics across Dubai
We see families at two locations, so quality ABA is within reach across the city.
Our Dubai Healthcare City (DHCC) clinic is on the 2nd Floor, Building 33, and is well placed for families in Bur Dubai, Oud Metha, Downtown and DIFC.
Our JLT clinic is at Office 1605, 16th Floor, Fortune Executive Tower, Cluster T, DMCC, convenient for families in Dubai Marina, JBR, TECOM and Al Barsha.
Both clinics offer the same standard of care and the same BCBA-led programmes, so you can choose whichever is easier to reach.
Therapy that works together
One of the advantages of a multidisciplinary clinic is coordination. Many children benefit from more than one therapy, and at ABLE UK your child’s ABA programme can run alongside our in-house speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, paediatric feeding therapy and oral placement therapy. When teams share a roof, they share goals: progress in one area supports progress in another, and families have a single, joined-up plan rather than a set of disconnected appointments.
Getting started
Starting is straightforward. Get in touch by phone or WhatsApp and we will arrange an initial assessment. During the assessment we take time to understand your child’s strengths and needs, answer your questions, and explain how an individualised programme would work. From there, we agree goals together and begin.
If you are researching ABA for your child for the first time, or you are looking for a more affirming alternative to a programme that has not felt right, we are happy to talk it through with no pressure.
